$8 billion. The volume of BMW investments in electric cars and self-driving

The BMW group said it would invest a standard amount in automotive and auto-driving research.

The group reported that the value of investments in this year alone would reach 8.6 billion dollars, more than the billion dollars invested in this area last year. 

BMW has an ambitious plan to detect 25 electric cars by 2025, and the company seeks to be half of its sales in that year in favor of the mini-satellite electric cars of BMW are going on the same plan as well, the company will start producing its first electric car in the year 2019.

The first self-driving vehicle of the group will be inext when it reaches public roads in 2021.
