
Toyota Japan Automotive Manufacturing & Development Co., Inc. will provide the new generation of its car "Sobra" with a developer engine by the German BMW company.
According to Saudi Automotive, the new Toyota, developed in cooperation with BMW, will use the same engineering as the new Z4, in addition to the BMW engine.
Gerald Kilman, deputy Chief of R & D in Toyota, said that Sopbra 2019 would get a 6-cylinder natural pull engine with no less than 450 horsepower without any hybrid engine systems.
The new Z4 will be supplied with several different engines, including a 4-cylinder engine with a strength of 195 horsepower and 236 for the Europeans market, and a 4-cylinder engine with 250 horsepower for the North American marketplace.
A further 3-litre dual-cylinder engine with a strength of 330 and 380 HP is reported to be available.
