Mercedes announced that the new class A vehicle will be put on the market by May at a price starting at 30,000 and 232 euros, equivalent to (600 and 55,000 Egyptian pounds).

The German company explained that the new compact hatchback was showing a length of 42,000 metres, as it appeared with a more streamlined design, and a more visible show, pointing that the most important change appears in the inner compartment; it offers a combination of an independent, extended screen, a head-up screen, and a touch screen with a system Self-learning voice control without static commands.

In addition, the basic model enjoys an extensive package of equipment, including many auxiliary systems, and more spacious for rear seat passengers, a more comfortable ascent, and more space for luggage, where 370 litres of luggage are sought.

The car has a range of gasoline and diesel engines, which cover a range of 85 kw/116 horsepower and 165 kw/224 horsepower. The most economical engines consume 1.4 litres/100 km of diesel, resulting in 108 g/km of CO2 emissions.
